Welcome to Little Muddy Me Pre-School, Evergreen Home Ed & Wacky Woods Alternative Provision
Little Muddy Me is the first outdoor pre-school in Maidenhead, Berkshire. Set within a beautiful enclosed wooded area at Braylake, our pre-school provides a wonderful outdoor space for children aged 2-5 to explore and discover their natural surroundings, we run our Home Ed programme from the same site for children aged 5-11 years who are home school educated.
New for September 2024 we opened our alternative provision site called Wacky Woods AP, this is currently based at an outdoor site at Bisham Abbey, SL7 1RR
Nature-based Learning
Our curriculum is centered around experiential, nature-based learning, providing children with hands-on experiences and a deeper connection to the natural world.
Physical and Mental Health
Being outdoors promotes physical activity, boosts mental health, and helps children develop a love for the natural environment.
Child-led Education
We believe in following children's interests and encouraging their natural curiosity, allowing them to take the lead in their learning journey.
Connecting Children with Nature
At Little Muddy Me Pre-school, we spend all day outside, no matter what the weather. We believe in the power of nature to enhance children's learning and development. Our aim is to create a nurturing and welcoming environment that is safe and secure, allowing children to enjoy learning through play, fun, and friendship.
